Academy Award Winner George Chakiris will be making an appearance! He won his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1961 and has been acting ever since. He’s known as a triple threat in Hollywood, being a dancer, singer and actor. And boy, did he really do this well. He’s given some of Hollywood’s best known performances. In Westside story he steps into the role of Bernardo, Maria’s protective older brother. His performance has brought many to tears over the decades, playing a key role in this classic. About that role he once said, “I wouldn’t mind even if it’s the ONLY thing people remember me for. It was a privilege just to be there and to contribute to something so wonderful. The last scene still gets me every time. It still brings tears to my eyes.”
